Brad Buhanan is a seasoned community engagement professional with a proven track record of success. He has served on the boards of directors for the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce (SGACC), Leadership Dixie, Iron Leaders Academy, and Southern Utah Performing Arts Foundation. He's been an ambassador for the SGACC and the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, and a mentor for the SGACC Young Professionals. He served within the SGACC as Co-Chair of the Public Policy Committee, Co-Chair of Chamber Votes, and a member of the Board of Governors. In addition, he has participated as a member of the Hurricane Valley Chamber and Mesquite Chamber.
Brad's commitment to community engagement has been recognized with multiple awards, including the "Paul Robinson Award" for his service as an SGACC ambassador and being named as a "30 in their 30s."
After working for years in community engagement for America First Credit Union, Brad was hired by the SGACC as the Chief Operations Officer and then as the Interim President and CEO. In these roles, he helped to lead the chamber through a period of significant growth and development.
Brad is now the Director of Community Engagement for Tech Ridge, a mixed-use technology master-plan community in St. George Utah. In this role, he is focused on bringing high-wage jobs to the area, building a robust tech community, and helping to ensure that the area's growth is responsible and sustainable.
Brad is a passionate advocate for Southern Utah and its people. He is a skilled leader and communicator, and he is committed to making a positive impact on the community.
