    Join us for a tour of two new multifamily projects in one convenient tour!

    Slate and Sloane are two new Class A apartment buildings developed by a joint venture between Urban Alfandre and Gardner Batt. Located in Salt Lake City’s Central 9th neighborhood, these properties have immediate access to the new 9-Line trail, all three UTA TRAX lines, and I-15. Both Slate and Sloane add to the neighborhood’s walkability by providing ground-floor retail and pedestrian-friendly design.     James Alfandre

    Urban Alfandre

    James is a Founding Principal of Urban Alfandre and brings over 12 years of real estate experience to the company. James has worked as a Project Manager for a residential development project in downtown Silver Spring, MD. Recently he led the revitalization effort for the Granary District in Salt Lake City by creating and maintaining an online crowd-sourcing platform with over 3,500 members of current and prospective tenants and allies. James was the driver behind Granary Row - a temporary retail and community space project made from recycled shipping containers - that catalyzed economic development and investment in the Granary District. Granary Row won the 2014 Utah American Institute of Architects Urban Design and Jury Awards. James has been featured in the Salt Lake Tribune for his work relating to Granary Row. James received a masters degree in Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Maryland and a bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University. James lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and five kids. When he's not working on improving the urban fabric of Salt Lake City, he's most likely biking, rock climbing, or backcountry touring in the local Wasatch mountains.
