    Daniel Dansie

    Attorney, Kirton | MCconkie

    Daniel Dansie is a shareholder in the firm's Real Estate section. He represents clients in a broad range of real estate and land use matters. He has extensive experience in acquisitions and sales, real estate financing, leasing, zoning and entitlements, homeowners associations, title and lien issues, boundary disputes, foreclosures, and landlord rights. Dan's practice spans both real estate transactions and real estate litigation. He is licensed to practice law in both Utah and Idaho and is a past chair of the Real Property section of the Utah State Bar.

    Paxton Guymon

    General Counsel, Edge Homes

    Paxton R. Guymon’s law practice spans many areas of real estate law, including a wide variety of land use and zoning matters, subdivisions, land acquisitions and development, finance, owners’ associations, and real estate transactions. Mr. Guymon’s practice includes both transactional work and litigation. He has successfully tried cases (bench trial and jury trials) in state and federal courts. He has successfully represented home builders, developers, lenders, brokers, agents, licensees, and concerned citizens in numerous land use, zoning, regulatory, and other real estate matters. Mr. Guymon has taught real estate seminars for the National Business Institute, and he speaks regularly at conferences sponsored by the Utah Land Use Institute and Utah realtor associations. Mr. Guymon has been selected as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” by Utah Business Magazine for the last 10 years in a row, as well as a top real estate lawyer in the Mountain States Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Guymon has served as the Chair of the Real Property Section of the Utah Bar, and past Chairman of the Planning Commission for the City of Cottonwood Heights. In 2019, Mr. Guymon was honored to receive the award of “Distinguished Real Property Practitioner of the Year” from the Real Property Section of the Utah State Bar. Mr. Guymon is a graduate of the University of Utah (Honors B.A., Magna Cum Laude, 1995) and the University of Utah College of Law (J.D. 1998) where he was elected to the Order of the Coif (top 10% of graduating class) and served as an editor of the Utah Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Guymon served as a judicial law clerk on the Utah Supreme Court. Mr. Guymon is currently serving as in-house general counsel for Edge Homes, one of Utah’s premier homebuilders, but he maintains an affiliation with the law firm of York Howell for certain matters.
