    Kip Paul is Vice Chairman of Investment Sales for Cushman & Wakefield in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since becoming a broker in 1983, Mr. Paul has provided transaction and advisory services to clients on over 2,500 transactions totaling in excess of $9 billion. Considered to be the most prolific broker in Utah, Mr. Paul is well known for his hard work ethic, creative approach to solving problems and strong client loyalty as evidenced by years of continued exclusive representation.

    Kurt Krieg

    Executive Vice President, Extell Development Corp

    Mr. Krieg joined Extell Development Company in 2017. He focuses on development and project management, vertical and horizontal improvements, acquisitions, governance and community formation and master plan oversight in Utah, principally the more than 6,500-acre Mayflower conglomerate including Blue Ledge, Pioche, JSSD, Primrose, Ventana, Valeo, and Mayflower land. Mr. Krieg has a unique understanding of Utah, Colorado and California development regulations and governance, public finance, luxury resort development, fractional development and the ski industry. Prior to his over two decades of resort and ski venue development, Mr. Krieg worked several years as a Treasuries Hedge Trader on the Chicago Board of Trade. Mr. Krieg is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in real estate and finance.

    Brooks Kirchheimer

    Co-founder & Co-owner, Hearth & Hill

    Hearth and Hill in Park City represented Brooks’s entrée into restaurant ownership, a lifelong dream. The California native earned a Restaurant and Hotel Management degree from the University of Denver, then started his restaurant management career at Montage hotels, in Beverly Hills and then Deer Valley. After resurrecting Main Street’s landmark Zoom restaurant, Brooks and his wife Catherine moved to Maui, where he was Assistant General Manager at famed restaurateur Peter Merriman’s eponymous oceanside restaurant. Brooks, Catherine, their son and dog call Park City home.

    Vice President of Acquisitions, La Salle Investment Management

    Zach Hill is a Vice President on the Acquisitions team and is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities across the Pacific Northwest (Utah, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho) on behalf of the firm’s core and value-add funds and separate accounts. Prior to joining LaSalle Investment Management, Mr. Hill was an Associate at Eastdil Secured on the Investment Sales team. Mr. Hill received a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

    Patrick Manning

    Managing Partner, Reef Capital Partners

    Patrick Manning is a successful developer with over 30 years of resort development experience. For the most recent 15 years, he focused on creating the finest communities in southern Utah, with Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club as the to-date flagship and the 3000+ unit Black Desert Resort in development. Patrick is actively working on various other projects throughout Utah while partnering with the best local contractors and craftsmen, delivering prestigious projects that provide great value and depth to the continuously growing region. Patrick is well known in the local business arena as a respected and reliable figure who treats everyone respectfully, honestly, and with an attitude toward success. Patrick has a diverse background in the real estate industry with a core interest in Resort Hospitality (ski, beach, equestrian, golf, and desert property development). Patrick was a multi-term member of the Board of Trustees for ARDA (American Resort Developer's Association) and has been at the helm and controlled the start-up and sell-out of more than $7B of real estate offerings. Early in life, Patrick was salesman of the year in the state of Florida and was subsequently recruited to oversee the sales of seven major resorts in Virginia, Wisconsin, Florida, and Georgia. Shortly after, he developed his first community in St. Augustine Beach, Florida. In recent years, Patrick decided he and his family would pare back from national and international development to settle down and exclusively work on Resort Hospitality developments in southern Utah.

    Maja Rosenquist

    Senior Vice President, Mortenson Development

    Since joining Mortenson in 1994, Rosenquist has led projects in Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Seattle, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Dallas. Presently, Maja provides oversight and executive leadership to Mortenson’s Salt Lake City and Sports groups. In her role, she ensures that projects are properly staffed, and the owner’s expectations are fully met. Her leadership is based on a long and successful track record in the industry that includes several large, world-class projects. Trust, communication, and commitment to meeting customer expectations are her most important attributes. Recent sports-related projects include a large renovation for the Cleveland Guardians, multiple projects for the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field, a new football stadium for Colorado State University, and the University of Colorado’s athletics complex.

    Nicholette Ross

    Senior Consultant, Global Location Strategies

    Nicholette began working in economic development with the South Carolina Department of Commerce, where she worked one-on-one with companies to provide guidance throughout the site selection process and assisted with the expansion of existing industries. Throughout the process, she worked with communities within South Carolina to identify suitable site locations for companies and communicated potential tax credits and incentives offered by the state and community. Prior to joining GLS, Nicholette worked for the State of South Carolina Europe Office, located in Munich, Germany, where she recruited jobs and investment to the state throughout Europe. While in Europe, Nicholette worked with companies across 13 countries opening facilities within the United States. She advised on the benefits of doing business in South Carolina and consulted on the steps to open a foreign-owned facility in the United States. At GLS, Nicholette is a Senior Consultant applying the science of site selection to companies and communities. She is working projects across North America, Europe and Asia with companies seeking to establish their next location. Nicholette received her International Master of Business Administration degree from Florida International University, and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina in marketing and management. She speaks English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.

    Sidni Shorter

    President & CEO, Utah Black Chamber

    Sidni L. Shorter, PsyD, is President and CEO of the Utah Black Chamber of Commerce, an entrepreneur, and a fierce advocate and practitioner of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Dr. Shorter was recently named the Director of the Utah Minority Business Development Agency. Sidni is the CEO of ExecuteNow!, a client-­‐ focused finance and accounting firm with a mission to ensure non-­‐profits and small to mid-­‐sized organizations have affordable access to capital, prudent financial management, and forward-thinking leadership. Sidni acquired ExecuteNow! and led the organization to develop and implement programs for national clients to address the disparity in access to affordable capital and investments for minority and women-led businesses. Under Sidni’s leadership, the chamber membership increased by 125% and revenue by 182% in seven months. As a servant leader, Sidni prioritizes relationship building and authentic engagement. An advocate for change and a social entrepreneur, her career and efforts are directed towards her passion for entrepreneurs and business leaders in their pursuit of access to affordable capital with growth, progress, and just outcomes encompassing diversity, equity, and inclusion as the goal. Sidni holds a Doctorate in Biblical Psychology, a Master’s in Theology, two Bachelor’s degrees in General Studies (concentration in Behavioral Science) and Theology, and is a Licensed Christian Therapist. Sidni believes great leaders are serial learners and exceptional listeners.

    Lesly Allen

    Executive Arts Director, South Salt Lake Arts Council

    Lesly Allen is the Executive Arts Director for the South Salt Lake Arts Council and the Co-Founder and Producer of South Salt Lake's annual Mural Fest. Lesly earned a masters degree in Non-Profit Arts Administration with an emphasis on Public Art from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lesly was the creator and administrator of the 9 Pillars Mural Project, an outdoor mural project raising awareness about unsheltered youth. In addition to her position at the Arts Council, Lesly also teaches a Murals Building Community class for the University of Utah's Lifelong Learning Continuing Education program. Lesly is a certified Change Leader through the Utah Division of Arts and Museums. In 2019, Lesly was awarded the South Salt Lake Community Champion Award for her work with Mural Fest. Lesly has served on the boards of Utah Arts Alliance, The Blue Society, and Splore. In her spare time, Lesly enjoys skiing, cycling, traveling the world and riding her motorcycle.

    Vicki Varela

    Managing Director, Office of Tourism and Film | Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity

    Vicki Varela is the managing director of the Office of Tourism in the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. She leads Utah’s national and international strategy to create a prosperous and responsible visitor economy. Varela’s career has spanned many roles in the public and private sectors. Her passion is advancing initiatives that create broad community prosperity. As vice president of Kennecott Land, she was a key driver in establishing the Daybreak master-planned community and its vision for the West Bench of Salt Lake Valley. As deputy chief of staff and spokesperson for Gov. Mike Leavitt, she organized the communications strategy that helped establish his reputation as a bold public policy entrepreneur. As Assistant Commissioner of Higher Education, she led statewide communications to increase access to community colleges. She has led statewide issue campaigns, including securing citizen support that laid the groundwork for the 2002 Winter Olympics. She started her career as a journalist with the Associated Press and later the Deseret News. Varela was named the Salt Lake Chamber Athena in 2022. Her current service includes the Salt Lake Chamber Board, the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute Advisory Board, the Utah Clean Energy Steering Committee and the Red Butte Garden Board. Nationally, she serves on the U.S. Travel Board. Varela has been recognized as the U.S. Tourism Director of the Year by the National Council of State Tourism Directors and one of America’s 25 Great Minds by Hospitality, Sales, and Marketing International. Varela has two adult children and one beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys adventures in Utah and around the world.

    Michelle Smith

    Chief People Officer, Larry H. Miller Company

    Michelle Smith assumed her current role in February 2021, where she is responsible for successful integration and onboarding practices of newly acquired businesses. The role supports the portfolio’s People & Culture vision and strategy with appropriate practices, policies and programming that are responsive to the changing dynamic of the workforce, supportive of the diverse needs of the businesses and ensure consistent commitment to the mission, vision and values of the Larry H. Miller Company. Prior to her role with the company, Michelle cultivated more than 20 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry gaining business strategy expertise in marketing, sales, and human resources. Most recently, Michelle served as Chief People Officer for the National Basketball Association’s Utah Jazz franchise. Michelle was most recently named as one of Utah Business Magazine’s 2020 “30 Women to Watch” and serves on the board of Encircle House, is a founding board member of Women in Sports & Events (WISE), and was a former co-chair of the Gail Miller Women’s Leadership Group.

    Jenifer Ewoniuk

    Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Cowboy Properties

    Jenifer Ewoniuk leads the Cowboy Properties team in all aspects of operations and management of the Cowboy Partners-developed portfolio. Part of the original Cowboy Partners team, Jenifer’s experience includes leading a team managing a wide variety of properties throughout the western United States, including luxury rentals, LIHTC properties and mixed-income and mixed-use properties. A recognized leader in the industry, she was president of the Utah Apartment Association from 2005-06 and has had a variety of leadership positions in the National Apartment Association.

    Jim Olson

    President, Utah Jazz

    Jim Olson serves as president of the Utah Jazz, an entity of Smith Entertainment Group (SEG). In this position, he provides strategic leadership for the organization’s assets – which include the Utah Jazz NBA franchise, Delta Center, the Salt Lake City Stars NBA G League team, and Jazz Gaming NBA 2K team – and also oversees all day-to-day business operations. Olson joined the Utah Jazz in 1994 when it was under the ownership of Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment (LHMSE) and has held multiple positions during his tenure, including vice president of ticket sales (2003-06), senior vice president of sales and marketing (2006-2013), chief operating officer of LHMSE (2013-15), and president of Vivint Arena (2015-2019). Within one year of being named president of LHMSE in October 2019, he played a critical role in helping the organization achieve two major wins. First, he helped the Utah Jazz win the bid to host the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, and, in fall 2020, he supported the seamless transition of ownership when Ryan Smith purchased the company from LHMSE, a move that kicked off a new era for the Utah Jazz. Additionally, Olson has had key management responsibilities for other entities that have fallen within the organization’s portfolio including the Salt Lake Bees, The Zone Sports Network, and the Tour of Utah. Currently, Olson serves on both the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation board and the Salt Lake City Police Foundation Board. He has also served on the University of Utah’s Alumni Association Board of Directors and Crimson Club Board, the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors, and the boards for the Downtown Alliance, Visit Salt Lake, and Camp Kostopulos. A native and long-time resident of Salt Lake City, Olson graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He also achieved a master’s degree in sports and recreation management from Northeastern University in Boston. He and his wife, Suzi, have four children and two grandchildren.

    Brian Tonetti

    Founder and Executive Director, Seven Canyons Trust

    Brian Tonetti is the founder and Executive Director of the Seven Canyons Trust, a nonprofit working to uncover and restore the buried and impaired creeks of the Salt Lake Valley. As a student at the University of Utah, he created the award-winning 100 Years of Daylighting. This visioning document led to the creation of the Seven Canyons Trust in 2014. In his role, he led implementation of the Three Creeks Confluence project--an award-winning effort to daylight Red Butte, Emigration, and Parley’s creeks where they flow into the Jordan River in Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and Urban Planning. His passion for waterways developed out of a love for skiing (a frozen watersport).

    Stephanie Frohman

    Senior Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships, EDC Utah

    Our longest-serving team member, Stephanie joined EDCUtah in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles, including director of special projects, director of global strategy & outreach, and vice president of business development. Steph currently leads the strategy to integrate EDCUtah’s investor relations and strategic marketing efforts. She also directs external strategy and partnerships with key stakeholders to galvanize capital investment and economic opportunity in Utah. Prior to joining EDCUtah, Stephanie’s career included medical device engineering and software account management, as well as a year of Americorps service with the Utah Food Bank. Stephanie is an avid skier and hiker with a passion for travel. In 2018, she took a leave of absence from EDCUtah to backpack around the world with her husband and two young daughters.

    Victoria Petro

    Councilwoman, Salt Lake City Council

    In November 2021, Victoria Petro was appointed by the Salt Lake City Council to fill the vacant district one seat. Shortly thereafter, she was also elected by district one voters to serve a four-year term beginning Jan. 3, 2022. Victoria was also appointed to serve on the Utah Inland Port Authority Board of Directors representing Salt Lake City. In 2023, Victoria was elected by her Council peers to serve as the Council’s Vice Chair. Victoria has called district one home for nearly a decade during which she has raised four children in the neighborhood. Prior to living in Salt Lake City, Victoria earned a bachelor’s degree in music therapy at East Carolina University, studied Musicology at Brandeis University, and earned a master’s degree in non-profit management from North Carolina State University. Since then, she has worked for several non-profits and as a Diversity Consultant. Her work as a consultant focused on actionable strategies to address inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in many different settings. Victoria served as the Executive Director for Salty Cricket, a non-profit dedicated to building community through music-based activities. Victoria encourages sustainable and strategic development for young and diverse communities. She also served on the Historic Landmark Commission, and the Utahns for Culture and Cultural Alliance Boards in 2020 and was the 2019 Salt Lake City Deedee Corradini Emerging Leader award winner. She has been, and will continue to be, an active voice for the diverse community in district one that is unique and rich in culture. She is eager to represent the greater Salt Lake City community by working closely with her district two neighbors and the west side community councils. Victoria aims to build a strong unified voice for the place she loves and calls home.

    Noah Hahn

    Managing Partner, Meriwether Companies

    Noah Hahn currently serves as a Found Partner in Meriwether Companies, and its operating affiliate Immersed Group. Meriwether is a resort development firm founded in2011. Over the last decade Meriwether has emerged as one of the most prolific developers in the resort niche- noted for their innovative next generation approach and institutional fiduciary. Since inception Meriwether has managed and developed more than $2B worth of real estate all over North America. Prior to founding Meriwether, Noah worked in real estate private equity and investment banking. Noah was also a member of the Teach for America corps upon graduating from college. He holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin, and an MBA from USC.

    President, Magleby Development, LLC

    Jason brings over 20 years of experience in all aspects of land acquisition, contracting, entitlement, development, and sales. He is a California real estate attorney with Real Estate broker licenses in Utah and California. He delivered over 3,500 residential lots for some of the largest homebuilders in the United States in some of the most competitive and fastest-growing markets in the US (Bay Area – California, Central Valley – California, Denver – Colorado, and Salt Lake City/Provo – Utah.) Jason's ultimate strength is his ability to relate to people and form relationships of trust. Through those connections, Jason has created life-long business partners and friends. Jason is an ardent believer that being healthy is more than the absence of disease and that mental, social, and physical wellbeing are equal contributors to a happy and healthy lifestyle.

    Keith Padien

    Executive Managing Director, Cushman & Wakefield

    Keith Padien is an Executive Managing Director located in the San Francisco office of Cushman & Wakefield focused on leading the Institutional Debt Placement Team in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West Regions. Keith joined Cushman & Wakefield from Eastdil Secured, where he spent six years focused on Debt Placement in the San Francisco Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Eastdil, Keith spent eight years as a lender, originating and closing commercial real estate loans at Cantor Fitzgerald and Credit Suisse. Keith has been directly responsible for financing transactions totaling more than $20 billion. He is responsible for the structuring and placement of commercial mortgages and has extensive experience working throughout various parts of the capital stack, including first mortgages, B- notes, mezzanine financings and preferred equity.

    Andy Gindy

    Senior Principal and Managing Director, Walton Street Capital, LLC

    Andrew Gindy is a Senior Principal on the Acquisitions team and leads the sourcing for new investments on behalf of the Firm’s opportunistic and core plus funds as part of the Equity Platform with a focus on West Coast acquisitions across property types and U.S. lodging acquisitions. Mr. Gindy has been involved in direct real estate investments, portfolio transactions, joint-ventures, and developments across North America and Western Europe. Mr. Gindy received a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University with a minor in Real Estate Finance and is a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) Hospitality Investment Roundtable.

    Jeff Grasso

    Managing Partner, Vesta Realty Partners

    Jeff is the Managing Partner of Vesta Realty Partners where he is responsible for the overall strategy, investment activity and management of the firm. Prior to founding Vesta in 2020, Jeff was a Senior Vice President, Head of Acquisitions and Investment Committee member for Silverstein Properties, an owner/developer headquartered in New York City with holdings exceeding 20 million square feet globally. In this role, he completed over $10 billion of real estate acquisitions, development, and loan originations throughout the United States, Europe, and China. Jeff was actively involved in all areas of the firm’s investment, capital markets and new development activities. Prior to joining Silverstein in 2010, Jeff was an Analyst in the Portfolio Management Group of ING Clarion Capital – a $5 billion AUM real estate credit fund. Jeff holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Syracuse University. He is a member of ULI’s Global Exchange Council, the Pension Real Estate Association, and a Board Member of the James D. Kuhn Real Estate Center at Syracuse University.

    Scott Glassberg

    Director, Real Estate Private Equity, Angelo Gordon

    Scott Glassberg joined Angelo Gordon’s real estate group in 2012 and oversees the firm’s activities in the Midwest and Mountain regions, as well as in the self-storage and manufactured housing sectors nationally. Prior to joining Angelo Gordon, Scott worked for PwC where he focused on real estate valuation, acquisition underwriting and securitization due diligence. Scott received his B.S. in Corporate Finance & Accounting and M.S. in Accounting from Bentley University and is on the Generation Harvest board for City Harvest.

    Britney Helmers is the Director of The Blocks, a non-profit that promotes the vibrancy of Salt Lake’s diverse creative community and champions downtown as the premiere district for arts and entertainment in utah. Britney earned her degree in Interior design from the Savannah College of Art and Design where she also studied Historic Preservation and graduated as a Varsity athlete. In addition to The Blocks, Britney is the chair of the Granary District Alliance, an organization that works to curate community in the continuously evolving neighborhood known as The Granary. In the past 2 years, Britney has also been associated with the popular pop-up event space known as Little City, which was most recently featured at The Green Loop in 2023. In her spare time, Britney enjoys exploring the outdoors, mountain biking and traveling to new places.

Greg actively integrates research and development design initiatives across multiple disciplines, including architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, real estate development, and urban planning. Greg has directed the design of numerous ballparks around the league, including the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Marlins Park in Miami, transformation at Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City, design consultant to the Oakland Athletics at Howard Terminal, and numerous MLB renovations across the league.

    Geoffrey is a Principal with Endeavor Real Estate Group focused on downtown mixed-use developments. Endeavor is a real estate firm based in Austin, TX that has developed or acquired over 25 million square feet across various product types (mixed-use, multifamily, office, and retail). Endeavor has a multifamily development pipeline of over 11,100 units in planning, under construction, or leasing. At Endeavor, Geoffrey is a member of the high-rise mixed-use development execution team (with active projects in Austin, Nashville, Dallas, Charlotte, and San Diego) as well as oversees Endeavor’s investments in Salt Lake City. Geoffrey received his BS in Finance from Brigham Young University.

    Carol Nelson is a Division President of the Mountain Region for Asset Living, the 2nd largest property management company in the U.S, where she oversees a portfolio of 30,000 units. She has nearly 30 years of experience in the multi-family industry with a focus on Class A lease ups, value add, rehab and stabilized communities ranging all asset classes. Carol is involved in building strong and strategic client relationships and business development. At Asset Living, her goal is to provide excellent customer service and build “best in class” teams. Previously, Carol was the COO for Redstone Residential, Managing Director for Greystar, and Senior Vice President for Alliance Residential where she was involved in strategic growth planning and development. Carol is a CPM, a licensed Broker in Utah, and a graduate of Brigham Young University, where she majored in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing.

    Natalie Gochnour serves as an associate dean in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, and as director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. He has worked as an officer and attorney in the US Navy, a management consultant, and a kindergarten teacher. He is a proud veteran who deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in 2011. Before joining Mapletree, Shane led the development team at The Hampshire Companies, a New Jersey-based developer.
