    A presentation from Wasatch Commercial/John Dahlstrom, Rocky Mountain Power/Shawn Grant and Colliers/Brandon Fugal. Get a glimpse of the Soleil renewable energy project. An eco-friendly multifamily development. An on-site energy and battery storage project utilizing clean solar energy from each of their perspectives. First, how did it start, how did it come together and how is it doing now.

    Shawn Grant has been employed with PacifiCorp since 2006 and has worked in various roles within the energy industry for over 25 years. His current position is Senior Customer Solutions Program Manager for Rocky Mountain Power and has responsibility for behavior based energy efficiency, electric vehicles, agricultural load management, and residential load management programs

    John Dahlstrom

    Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Wasatch Commercial Management

    JOHN DAHLSTROM EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL John Dahlstrom began working with Wasatch in May 2001, and oversees leasing, acquisition, and development of commercial properties managed by Wasatch and owned by Wasatch-affiliated entities. Before joining Wasatch, Mr. Dahlstrom practiced law in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a member of the Executive Board and Board of Governors of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Downtown Alliance in Salt Lake City, a trustee of the Gallivan Center Board, a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Utah Hospital Foundation, a current member and the past Chair of the National Advisory Committee of the University of Utah’s Honor College, a former member of the Utah Heritage Foundation’s Board of Directors (2008 – 2012), and has served on the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority for Salt Lake County (1997 – 2007). Mr. Dahlstrom has led many notable acquisition and development projects for Wasatch. These include high-rise office building acquisitions in Salt Lake City of the Wells Fargo Center (2001), the Ken Garff Building (2003), the City Centre Building (2006), and the Broadway Media Center (2008). New development projects in downtown Salt Lake City include the Questar Center (2012) and 222 South Main Street (2007) with former partner Hamilton Partners. He has also led the development of several retail projects including Academy Square in North Logan, Utah (2005), redevelopment of the Canyon Rim Shopping Center in Holladay, Utah (2011), acquisition and redevelopment of The Shoppes at Bountiful Plaza in Bountiful, Utah (2014) and The Village Shoppes at Day Dairy in Draper, Utah (2016). Mr. Dahlstrom obtained a bachelor’s degree from the School of Finance at University of Utah in 1984, and minored in French. He received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah in 1988 and serves as an active member of the Utah State Bar.
