    David Cannon

President of Commercial Real Estate, Larry H. Miller Real Estate

Larry H. Miller Real Estate is at the forefront of innovative and impactful development from Master Planned Communities like Daybreak to innovative entertainment-anchored, mixed-use districts including Downtown Daybreak and the Power District. David is instrumental in providing strategic direction for the commercial real estate division of Larry H. Miller Real Estate. In his role as president, his overarching objective is to maximize value through a blend of innovative design, efficient use of capital, strategic partnerships and a disciplined approach to planning future development and achieving consistent outcomes. His background and outlook could not be more perfect for the job. A 20-year veteran in the investment real estate world, David’s experience includes serving as President of Suburban Land Reserve, where he oversaw the investment land portfolio of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Working on landholdings and master planned development in locations that stretch from Florida to California, David has built a career defined by large-scale land and long-term thinking. And yet he also has a deep appreciation for the details. Being a long-time resident of Daybreak has given David a first-hand understanding of the power of design and placemaking to enrich lives, which is the primary mission of Larry H. Miller Real Estate. For David, it comes down to stewardship — recognizing just how precious our land resources are, not merely as a means of generating revenue and benefiting the local economy, but for solving the larger challenges of regional growth and quality of life. And to him, that means holding to a more far-reaching definition of “return on investment” in which profitability is measured financially, socially and environmentally.
