ULI Utah Young Leaders Lessons Learned series feature one seasoned professional from a variety of disciplines to candidly share knowledge about important “lessons learned” in their own careers.  These are small groups in an informal forum where attendees can have direct interactions and access to influential leaders in the community.

March will feature Mark Murdock.  Mark is the Vice President of Development at the Gardner Company, one of Utah’s largest real estate development companies, which is currently developing over 3 million square feet of office, retail, and multi-use properties. He managed the development of the Utah-based Adobe and Vivint campuses and is currently overseeing the completion of some of the largest office buildings along the Wasatch Front-including Pluralsight, Overstock, 1800Contacts, Thumbtack, Visa, Academy Mortgage, and CHG Health Care. He loves working with people and finding solutions to complex issues for both his company and its customers.

He graduated with a Masters of Real Estate Development from Columbia University. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Brooke, and their five children, as well as competing in triathlons, playing soccer and skiing. He has spent the last year and a half working on the development of the three new homeless shelters.
