**The event will be help in the Spencer Fox Eccles Business Building (SFEBB). It is eight stories tall (the tallest building in this area of campus). The event is in Child Hall which is Room 7170/7180.

You can park on the first level of the Central Permit Parking Garage – see map below. If you park on any other level of the garage you may be ticketed.

Nick Etherington, VP Underwriting, Taylor Derrick Capital
Mr. Etherington identifies and cultivates borrower, broker, bank and other synergistic firm relationships to promote Taylor Derrick Capital’s (TDC) deal flow, debt and equity diversification and overall firm growth.
With over 12 years of commercial and residential real estate experience, Mr. Etherington is responsible for the strict evaluation and vetting of potential loan opportunities through in-depth financial market analysis, property analysis, site visits and evaluation of deal viability and exit strategies.
Mr. Etherington holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah.
Clay Carley, Manager/Owner, Old Boise
Clay Carley is manager and owner of Old Boise, a mixed use development on the east edge of downtown Boise in a Registered Historic District with the National Parks Service and the City of Boise. It is occupied by Idaho’s largest collection of historic commercial buildings and is an established neighborhood with character and a thriving nightlife.
Clay recently renovated the historic Owyhee Hotel in downtown Boise, it is now a mixed use property containing office, retail, residential, and event space. In 2018 Old Boise completed the Gibson apartment building which contains 81 market rate apartments, a restaurant, and a public park along Idaho Street.
Clay is an active member of ULI, he is currently the chair of the Idaho District Council.
Flyn Dawson, Director, Ivory-Boyer Real Estate Center and V.P. of Core Real Estate Banking Group at Zions Bank
Flyn Dawson is the director of the Ivory-Boyer Real Estate Center and an associate instructor for the MRED program. Additionally, Flyn is a senior vice president / senior relationship manager in the Core Real Estate Banking Group at Zions Bank.
As a Relationship Manager in the Core Real Estate Banking Group, Flyn is responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring and closing commercial real estate loans for some of the region’s largest real estate developers and owner / operators within the Zions Bank footprint.
Prior to joining Zions Bancorporation, Flyn spent 11 years with JP Morgan Real Estate in Southern California and Salt Lake City. Flyn received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from University of California – Irvine Paul Mirage School of Business.
